OLIGO DOUBLE-STRANDED RNA INHIBITING THE EXPRESSION OF Bcl-2 AND MEDICINAL COMPOSITION CONTAINING THE SAME

摘要

An oligo double-stranded RNA for the knockdown of the expression of Bcl-2 protein that is known as an apoptosis inhibitory factor and a medicinal composition containing the same. It is known that Bcl-2 protein is overexpressed in diseases such as cancer. Owing to this overexpression, cancer cells continuously grow and there arises drug tolerance against, for example, an anticancer agent. It is intended to provide an oligo double-stranded RNA having a high activity of inducing the decomposition of bcl-2 mRNA and a medicinal composition for inhibiting the overexpression of Bcl-2 protein that comprises a complex of the oligo double-stranded RNA with an appropriate carrier.
