<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen storage material in which a large quantity of hydrogen can be stored even in a temperature range of room temperature (25°C) to 100°C and to provide a fuel cell provided with the hydrogen storage material. <P>SOLUTION: This hydrogen storage material is obtained by depositing a metal or alloy containing at least one selected from the group consisting of platinum, ruthenium, rhodium, palladium, osmium, iridium, copper, silver, gold, zinc and chromium on at least a part of a carbon-based material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
