<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pouch type lithium secondary battery and its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: The pouch type lithium secondary battery 30 comprises: a battery part 31 in which a positive pole 33, a separator 35, and an anode plate 34 is arranged in order; a plurality of electrode tabs 36 and 37 each are pulled out from respective electrode plates of the battery part; a case 32 having a space 32c for mounting the battery part and sealed planes 32d and 32e formed to be thermally welded along the periphery of the space; and a protection circuit board 300 electrically connected to the electrode tabs. The sealed plane region of the case is minimized by bending the electrode tab exposed outside from the sealed plane of the case as vertically standing from the edge of the sealed plane, and arranging the protection circuit board electrically connected to the bent electrode tabs between the outside wall of the case and the electrode tabs. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
