<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To regulate the group delay deviation within a 3 dB pass band of an optical filter module for demultiplexing a wavelength multiplexed optical signal to respective beams of channel signal light to ±2 picoseconds. <P>SOLUTION: The optical filter module comprises an optical filter which is changed in the group delay deviation by an angle of incident light, a first collimator which is disposed in a position where the collimator faces one surface of the optical filter and a second collimator disposed in a position where the collimator faces the first collimator through the optical filter. The first collimator has a first optical fiber and a lens function section which projects the exit light of the first optical fiber to the optical filter and the second collimator has a second optical fiber and a second lens function section which converges the light from the optical filter to the second optical fiber. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
