PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-phase rectifier in which the distortion of the waveform of a current flowing in a rectifying operation is reduced, which can be miniaturized and which can be made low-cost. SOLUTION: Switching circuits 3R, 3S, 3T are installed respectively across positive-side and negative-side diodes 5Ra and 5Rb, 5Sa and %Sb as well as 5Ta and 5Tb whose cathodes and anodes are connected respectively to a positive-side DC bus 4a and a negative-side DC bus 4b. A control circuit 11 switching-controls the switching circuits 3R, 3S, 3T in a partial period of about 60 deg. before and after zero-crossing points of respective phase voltages eR, eS, eT at a three-phase power supply 1, and respective phase currents iR, iS, iT are controlled so as to follow a current instruction value. |
