PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need to install a dedicated trace circuit so as to specify a fault position on a common bus. SOLUTION: A search program for fault position specification is downloaded from a main processor 2 to subprocessors 3-5. On the sides of the subprocessors 3-5, the two subprocessors 3 and 4 are selected out of all the subprocessors 3-5 in order with a simultaneous interruption start signal sent from the main processor 2 according to the search program, and block data with a SUM code is transferred mutually between both the subprocessors 3 and 4; and a SUM check is made as to the received data and the fault position on the common bus 1 is specified according to the check result. |
