CARD TYPE RADIO CALLING RECEIVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve receiving sensitivity by arranging a short circuit conductor along the outside of an insulation frame to reduce the deterioration of an antenna gain caused by the structure of a short circuit part. SOLUTION: A tongue-shaped short circuit conductor part 4 provided at a tip part in the neighborhood of the corner of the conductor plate 2 at a bottom face is bent along the outside of the frame of the insulation frame 3 to be screwed to a conductor plate 1 on a top face. Consequently the whole lengths of the conductor plates 1 and 2 at the top and bottom faces forming an antenna element are longer than those of conventional structure by the width of the frame of the insulation frame 3 and are nearly equal the whole length of the longitudinal direction of a card type receiver. A power feeding point is provided in the neighborhood of the corner part A or D of the two conductor plates 1 and 2 arranged in parallel and a short circuit point is arranged in the neighborhood of one or both of corner parts C and B to form a plate-shaped loop antenna to operate as the plate-shaped loop antenna. As the whole length of the antenna becomes long, an antenna gain is increased to improve receiving sensitivity.
