APPARATUS FOR CONCENTRATING OXYGEN CONTAINED IN AIR IN AEROPLANE AND METHOD FOR OPERATING THE APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an apparatus for concentrating oxygen contained in air in an aeroplane so that a produced gas in which oxygen is concentrated satisfies a specific minimum requirement.

SOLUTION: An oxygen analyzer (260) for analyzing a produced gas flow and a flow rate sensor (250) are provided to be combined with a switching apparatus (270) and connected to flow to a discharge passage (320) in a 1st switching position and connected to flow to a consumption pipe line (310) in a 2nd switching position. A means for producing a switching signal from the 1st switching position to the 2nd switching position when the oxygen output calculated as the product of the produced gas flow rate and the concentration of oxygen reaches a previously set threshold or exceeds the threshold is provided.
