PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a protein in a cell-free system by using an extraction liquid for the cell-free synthesis of protein containing an extract derived from silkworm, and provide a method for the cell-free synthesis of a protein giving increased quantity of synthesized protein. SOLUTION: The cell-free synthesis of protein is carried out by using a reaction liquid produced by adding a tRNA derived from arthropod to an extraction liquid for the cell-free synthesis of protein and containing an extract derived from arthropod.
