PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost without lowering a withstand pressure strength in a packing box of an electronic device. SOLUTION: A carton box 1 has corner reinforcing members 5a, 5b, 5c, 5d. Each corner reinforcing member 5a, 5b, 5c, 5d is arranged in the vertical direction inside four corners of side plates 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d so that the bottom ends of the corner reinforcing members abut on the inner bottom flaps 3b, 3d and the upper ends abut on the inner lid flaps 4b, 4b. Each corner reinforcing member 5a, 5b, 5c, 5d is formed by bending substantially at right angle corrugated cardboard pieces cut-off from a pair of inner lid flaps 4b, 4d along the corrugated shape of a corrugating medium 11. The corner reinforcing members are obtained by cutting-off the center portion of each inner lid flap into two square paper pieces respectively to leave substantially a U shape of a residual portion.
