PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the cooling efficiency of a stator winding and a rotor conductor. SOLUTION: In a vehicle-driving AC motor in which cooling air taken in from axial one end sides of the stator 1 and the rotor 3 is passed through a space between the stator 1 and the rotor 3 and through the ventilation hole 3c of a rotor iron core 3a and is discharged through the other end sides of the stator 1 and the rotor 3, iron core holds 8, 9 arranged at the axial opposite end of the stator 1 are connected with a connecting body 10 arranged on the outside of the stator iron core 1a near substantially the central position in the vertical direction and the horizontal direction relative to the axial center of the rotor 3. An air conduit channel 14 for communicating between one end sides and the other end sides of the stator 1 and the rotor 3 is formed between the stator iron core 1a and the connecting body 10, conducting a part of the cooling air taken in from one end sides of the stator 1 and the rotor 3 via the air conduit channel 14 to the other end sides of the stator 1 and the rotor 3.
