PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve dielectric strength by doubling an insulating sheet of paper and partly doubling a phase insulating sheet of paper, too, and to hereby raise a partial discharge starting voltage. SOLUTION: This armature insulating structure of a rotating motor is configured such that double insulation is established by the first and second insulating sheets of paper (3, 3A), and the phase insulating sheet of paper (5) is partly doubled, thus improving the dielectric strength and raising the partial discharge starting voltage.
