PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely provide to a user a favorite broadcast program that the user watches usually. SOLUTION: When a user performs a tuning operation, tuning contents in a tuning means are stored in a storage means as candidates of user's favorite broadcast program. A determining means investigates stored contents in the storage means and determines presence/non-presence of user's favorite broadcast program. When the presence of user's favorite broadcast program is detected from the determined result in the determining means, a control means generates a tuning control signal for selecting user's favorite broadcast program and controls a signal of user's favorite broadcast program to be automatically recorded by a broadcast program control means. Information on the tuning contents in the tuning means stored in the storage means is weighted in accordance with user's liking. The control means controls user's favorite program which is determined by the determining means on the basis of the weighted information stored in the storage means, to be automatically recorded.
