PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new trifluoromethylquinoxaline compound having excellent insecticidal, acaricidal and bacteriocidal activities. SOLUTION: The trifluoromethylquinoxaline compound is represented by general formula (1) (wherein, R<SP>1</SP>is a halogen atom, a 1-4C alkyl group, a 1-4C haloalkyl group, a nitro group or a benzoyl group; R<SP>2</SP>and R<SP>3</SP>are each independently a hydrogen atom, a 1-20C alkyl group which may have a substituent, a 3-8C cycloalkyl group which may have a substituent, a phenyl group which may have a substituent or a heterocyclic group which may have a substituent, or may form a linked chain by bonding to each other; m is an integer of 0-4, and when m is≥2, R<SP>1</SP>may be the same or different).
