PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric regeneration type pure water production apparatus which has increased removal efficiency of a weak electrolyte. SOLUTION: The apparatus is composed of a plurality of sets of demineralization chambers (81) and concentration chambers (91) which are sequentially formed between an anode chamber with an anode and a cathode chamber with a cathode by alternately arranging an anion-exchange membrane and a cation-exchange membrane. Each demineralization chamber is divided into two in a liquid passing direction. An anion exchanger (A) and a cation exchanger (C) are sequentially arranged between the anion exchange membrane and the cation exchange membrane on the upstream side demineralization chamber. Also, the exchange capacity of the anion exchanger (A) is larger than that of the cation exchanger (C). Then, a mixture (M) of the cation exchanger/anion exchanger is arranged between the anion exchange membrane and the cation exchange membrane on the downstream side in the demineralization chamber.
