PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective film for a shaped article that reduces occurrences of fading or scratches on a surface during a long use and becomes naturally luminous in the dark. SOLUTION: The protective film for a shaped article is formed by providing a luminous film layer 1 of a luminous agent that accumulates surrounding light and naturally becomes luminous on the surface of a base material body (a) of a shaped article A and a glass film layer 2 formed of a single-component or multicomponent metal oxide glass film on the surface of the luminous film layer 1.
