PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens system which can be miniaturized and can be reduced in occupancy space. SOLUTION: The lens system 10 is arranged with an aperture 1412 in proximity to a second stationary lens 1604 in the state that a case 1408 is extended in its longitudinal direction to the diametral direction of a lens-barrel body 1202 and penetrates a lens-barrel body 1206. Also, a curved surface 1604A of the second stationary lens 1604 is positioned within the aperture 1412 of the case 1408, by which the second stationary lens 1604 is arranged in extreme proximity to an aperture blade 1404. Since the configuration to close the clearance between a second slot 1206 portion and the tip of the case 1408 by a second cover 18 is employed, the gap formed between the tip of the case 1408 and the second slot 1206 is surely closed and the tip of the case 1408 is positioned in relation to the portion of the second slot 1206.
