PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device in which deterioration in the elasticity characteristics of an elastic roller is prevented by a metal layer formed on the outer circumferential surface of the elastic roller that forms a nip for fixing a toner image and an excessive increase in temperature in a paper non-passage area is prevented.
