PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video display device which can reduce a manufacturing cost by employing a circuit for fixing a synchronous position and a multi-display system as well as a synchronous position fixing circuit for fixing the synchronous position. SOLUTION: The video display device has a horizontal synchronous position fixing section 107 which forms an input horizontal synchronizing signal H 3, a data position signal DE 3, a clock signal and an output horizontal synchronizing signal H 5 based on first and second synchronous position set values, a vertical synchronous position fixing section 108 which forms an input vertical synchronizing signal V 3, an input horizontal synchronizing signal H 3, a data position signal DE 3, a clock signal and an output vertical synchronizing signal V 5 based on third and fourth synchronous position set values, and a signal processing section 109 which displays the videos based on a digital video signal RGB 3 in synchronization with the output horizontal synchronizing signal H 5 and output vertical synchronizing signal V 5 on a display element 110.
