The reconstruction method involves providing recorded data of the sample from different aspects of the sample. An initial estimated density distribution of the sample is provided at the individual grid points. An estimate of the distribution is provided as a starting point. A blurred prior prejudice distribution is provided using estimated data. The computing system uses an iterative process to calculate anew estimated distribution of the sample from a comparison of the previous estimate and sample data and the prior prejudice distribution. The process is repeated until a threshold is reached and then the image is presented.
