<p>An optical information storage device includes a medium storage section containing a plurality of optical recoding media, an information reproduction section for reproducing information from the optical storage medium, and a medium shift section for shifting the optical recording media between the medium storage section and the information reproduction section, three built in a case, thereby increasing the storage capacity and reducing the device size. It is possible to provide an optical information storage device capable of cleaning the optical storage media stored in the medium storage section by a simple configuration and an optical information storage system consisting of a plurality of optical information storage devices. A cleaning section for clearing the optical storage medium (13) is arranged on a path on which the medium shift section (15) shifts the optical storage medium (13). While the optical storage medium (13) is moved from the medium storage section (12) to the information reproduction section (16), the optical storage medium (13) is cleared and it is possible to prevent contamination of the information reproduction section (16) with unnecessary materials.</p> |
