A hindered amine compound is disclosed which is suitable to a light stabilizer for resins. Specifically, disclosed is a hindered amine compound represented by the following general formula (1): (wherein R<1>, R<2>, R<3> and R<4> represent hydrogen atoms, substituted or unsubstituted alkyl groups having 1-10 carbon atoms or the like; X<1>-X<4> represent substituted or unsubstituted alkyl groups having 1-10 carbon atoms or the like; Y represents a hydrogen atom, an oxygen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1-10 carbon atoms or the like; n is an integer of 1-7; and m is an integer of 1-100).
