摘要 PURPOSE: A method for detecting a bad call section with respect to a trunk call in a switching system is provided to allow a system operator to quickly search a problematic section and promptly take a step to smoothly provide a service to users. CONSTITUTION: When there is a problem in speech quality, an ASP number and a trunk number of an exchange used by a trunk call are searched according to an operator command language by using a number of a subscriber who attempting the trunk call. At this time, it is checked whether the subscriber number inputted by the operator has an error, and if there is no problem, a loopback function is performed by using certain resources(S100). The trunk of the ASP is made to a loopback trunk so that a call tone which has been originated can be back to a terminal of an originator terminal. At this time, it is checked whether there is an error in the call tone, and if an error is detected, it is determined that there is a problem in the corresponding exchange section and a call processing of the exchange is checked(S200). The loopback trunk is restored for performing a normal trunk call. If the loopback trunk is not restored, it is not possible to hear a call tone of a callee. If no error is detected, the same search operation is performed on other exchanges(S300).
