A face recognition system which is trained using images of a person's face at different ages. The system stores a plurality of sets of images for each person, each set having an associated date. When the system is processing an input image in order to recognise a face therein, it compares the input image to the set for each person which has the date such that the age of the person in the stored image is closest to the age of the person in the subject image. |
