A composition for production of care or cosmetic products as well as of food supplements contains a taste-neutral powder of (especially Chinese) fresh water pearl hydrolysate with particle size distribution 0.3-250 mu m, specific surface area 1.0-1.5 m2>/g and amino acid content >=2 wt.%. An independent claim is also included for production of the pearl hydrolysate by washing, drying and sterilizing the pearls, ultra-micro milling them to the required particle size and specific surface area and enzymatically hydrolysing them, followed by drying, determining the trace element and amino acid contents and sterilizing and packaging the product. |
