<p>A composition comprising (a) an effective amount of a luminophore, (b) an oxygen-permeable and film-forming polymer and (c) a solvent for components (a) and (b), wherein (a1) the luminophore is selected from the group of platinum (II) porphyrins; and (a2) the polymers are selected from the group: (1) polystyrene-acrylonitriles having from 5 to 95 mol % structural units of acrylonitrile and from 95 to 5 mol % structural units of styrene; and (2) a hydrophobic homopolymer of an acrylate, methacrylate, acrylamide or methacrylamide, or a hydrophobic copolymer based on a monomer from the group acrylate, methacrylate, acrylamide and methacrylamide, and an olefinic comonomer. Support materials that have been coated with the solvent-free composition are suitable as optrodes for the luminescence-optical determination of oxygen, especially in physiological fluids.</p> |
