PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce a sound which is so far recorded even if a battery is carelessly removed in a recording mode. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a semiconductor memory 9 which stores the voice data and the management information managing the voice data, a control part 30 which controls the write of the voice data and their management information to the memory 9 and also controls the read of the voice data given from the memory 9 based on the management information stored in the memory 9, and a cover open detection switch which detects that the cover of a battery storage space storing a battery 51 is opened. If a signal is supplied from the cover open detection switch to show the opening of the cover while the voice data are written into the memory 9, the part 30 ends the write of the voice data and writes the management information corresponding to the written voice data into the memory 9. |
