PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a package collection/delivery system capable of completely managing information from the collection of packages up to the completion of delivery at real time. SOLUTION: When a sender executes operation for sending a package by a package collection part 11 arranged in each place, the information is sent to a collection/delivery information management part 21 in a collection/delivery information center 13 through a line network 14 and the package is accepted. A transport means 15 transports the collected package to a package distribution center 12, sorted and delivered to a delivery destination 16 by a transport means 17. At the time of delivery, an information I/O part 19 reads out a bar code from each package at each point of time and sends the read information to the management part 21. Thus the current state of each package can be managed at real time from its reception. |
