PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily execute operation for pasting a required end of a paragraph character string into a document of another document format which does not have the end of a paragraph format. SOLUTION: When a required character string in document data is specified, the specified character string is temporarily stored (step S1), the end of a paragraph format information of the temporarily stored character string is discriminated (step S2), a required position in the document data is specified (step S3), and document format information on the specified position is discriminated (step S4). Then consistency between the discriminated document format information and the end of a paragraph format information is checked, the paragraph format information is corrected based on the checked result (step S7) and the temporarily stored character string is pasted on the specified position based on the corrected end of a paragraph format information (step S8). |
