摘要 PURPOSE: An aluminum alloy for tire mold capable of manufacturing an economical tire mold having superior mechanical properties such as wear resistance and low thermal expansion coefficient and superior dimensional accuracy, tire mold segments using the aluminum alloy, and a manufacturing method of the tire mold segments are provided. CONSTITUTION: The aluminum alloy for tire mold segments comprises 3.0 to 6.0 wt.% of magnesium (Mg), 4.0 to 5.0 wt.% of nickel (Ni), 0.2 to 0.5 wt.% of manganese (Mg) and a balance of aluminum (Al). The manufacturing method of tire mold segments comprises the steps of preparing an aluminum alloy for tire mold segments; installing the prepared pattern at a casting mold(20) by preparing a pattern(24) for casting the tire mold segments; changing the aluminum alloy into any one state out of the liquid state and solid phase/liquid phase coexistence state; injecting the aluminum alloy in any one state out of the liquid state and solid phase/liquid phase coexistence state into the mold; pressing the alloy in any one state injected into the mold; and forming a negative pressure at a side of the pattern attached mold, and increasing cooling rate of the boundary surface between the pattern and alloy so that casting defects are reduced, wherein the manufacturing method of the tire mold segment further comprises the step of degassing the melt(25) before injecting the melt into the mold if an alloy injected into the mold is a melt in the liquid state.
