PURPOSE: An electromagnetic interference shielding material using a metal foil ribbon of high permeability and a fabricating method thereof are provided to protect human body from the electromagnetic waves by shielding the electromagnetic waves generated from electronic devices. CONSTITUTION: An electromagnetic interference shielding material using a metal foil ribbon of high permeability includes a metal foil ribbon(20) and an adhesion layer(22). The metal foil ribbon(20) is formed with metal or alloy selected from Ni-Fe-Mo, Fe-Si, and Mu metal. The relative permeability of the metal foil ribbon(20) is more than 1000. The thickness of the metal foil ribbon(20) is 1 to 900 micro meters. The width of the metal foil ribbon(20) is 1 to 90 mm. The adhesion layer(22) is formed on one or more sides of the metal foil ribbon(20). A thin film layer(24) is formed on one or more sides of the metal foil ribbon(20). The thin film layer(24) is formed with Cu, Ni, Ag, Al, Au, Sn or their combination.
