HIGH VOLTAGE GENERATOR, ESPECIALLY SELECTIVELY DRIVING TWO KINDS OF CHARGE PUMPS BY ONE OPTION SIGNAL

PURPOSE: A high voltage generator is provided to increase the pumping efficiency by controlling one mask option or a simple bonding process for the external voltage and the inner voltage changes. CONSTITUTION: A high voltage generator includes a level detector(10), a first oscillator(20), a second oscillator(30), a first charge pump(40) and a second charge pump(50). The level detector(10) selects one among a plurality of voltage sources in response to the option control signal. The level detector compares the selected voltage source with the Vpp voltage. The first oscillator operates in response to the option control signal and generates a plurality of pulse signal having a different period. The second oscillator operates in response to the option control signal and generates the pulse signal. The first charge pump is enabled in response to the option signal and generates the Vpp voltage by pumping in response to the output of the first oscillator. And, the second charge pump is enabled in response to the option control signal and generates the Vpp voltage by pumping in response to the output of the second oscillator.
