PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen an Mn-Ni ferrite in loss in a high-frequency region by a method, wherein the Mn-Ni ferrite is made to contain a specific amount of nickel oxide and iron sesquioxide, and manganese oxide is made to be substantially contained as a residual component in the Mn-Ni ferrite. SOLUTION: 1 to 10 mol% of NiO, 55 to 68 mol% of Fe2 O3 , and residual % of ZnO are compounded together, then wet-mixed, and dried out into material mixed powder. Then, the material mixed powder is calcined in an atmosphere, then 0.02 to 0.10 wt.% SiO2 and Ca 0.03 to 0.30 wt.% are added to the calcined powder, and the mixed powder is wet-mixed again and dried up. Polyvinyl alcohol water solution is added to the dried powder, which is granulated, molded, and burned in a mixed gas of nitrogen and air. A winding wire is wound on an obtained burned specimen. A temperature at which an Mn-Ni ferrite of this constitution becomes minimal in loss is set to 100 deg.C or less. |
