METHOD AND AN APPARATUS FOR TRANSFERRING A SLOT IN MULTIPLE POP FOR A TV SYSTEM CAPABLE OF MOVING A SUB-SCREEN BY USING AN ARROW KEY

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for transferring a slot in a multiple POP(Picture Out Picture) for a TV system are provided to move a sub-screen and determine an automatic search direction by using an arrow key displayed on an OSD(On Screen Display) menu. CONSTITUTION: An RF receiving member(300) receives information on channel selection and arrow key selection inputted by a user. A control member(310) transmits the channel selection information transmitted by the RF receiving member and performs an operation corresponding to the arrow key selection information. A tuner(320) receives a broadcasting corresponding to the channel selection information transmitted by the control member. A decoder(330) decodes the broadcasting signal transmitted by the tuner. An OSD member(350) displays an OSD menu on a sub-screen for displaying a moving image. A video processor(300) distributes the signal transmitted from the decoder into at least one sub-screen among a main screen and plural sub-screens previously determined at a region except for the main screen, and displays an OSD menu transmitted by the OSD member into a sub-screen for displaying the moving picture. An output member(370) displays screens distributed by the video processor.
