PURPOSE: A washing machine with a filter system is provided to prevent reduction of flow of water into an inner tub in clogging a filter, and to improve convenience in using the filter by mounting the filter system in the drain pipe of the bottom of the outer tub. CONSTITUTION: A washing machine is composed of an outer tub(12) storing washing water supplied in washing; an inner tub(14) rotated and installed in the outer tub; a pulsator(16) rotated and installed in the bottom of the inner tub; a driving motor and a driving unit supplying power to rotate the inner tub and the pulsator; a filter system(180) installed in a drain pipe formed in the bottom of the outer tub to accumulate foreign matters and fluff among washing water in the lower part by reducing flow rate washing water from the drain pipe in washing and to discharge foreign matters and fluff with washing water in draining by driving a drain pump; a circulation pump(82) installed in the bottom of the outer tub to circulate washing water into the inner tub; and a connecting pipe(190) connected between the filter system and the circulation pump to flow washing water from the filtering system to the circulation pump.
