PURPOSE: A soundproof window for preventing infiltration of rainwater is provided to insulate heat and noise, and to restrict inflow of rainwater by minimizing the clearance of the window. CONSTITUTION: A sliding window system is composed of a window frame and a window. A shutoff rail is formed in the outer part of the window frame, and arranged around the window frame. A shutoff screen(21) is protruded in the outer part of the window frame panel to surround the outside of the shutoff rail formed in the window frame. A mohair insertion groove(22) is formed in the shutoff screen, and mohair is inserted to the mohair insertion groove. The soundproof window system prevents rainwater from being infiltrated into the clearance between the window and the window frame by forming the single mohair groove in the window frame and forming four mohair grooves in the window.
