OIL DECOMPOSING MICROORGANISM ACINETOBACTER SP. TO PURIFY OIL CONTAMINATED AREA STABLY AND ENVIRONMENT-FRIENDLY

PURPOSE: An oil decomposing microorganism Acinetobacter sp. is provided, which microorganism stably and environment-friendly purifying the oil contaminated area without causing the second contamination. CONSTITUTION: The oil decomposing microorganism Acinetobacter baumanii/calcoaceticus N(KCCM 10376) is provided, wherein Acinetobacter baumanii/calcoaceticus N(KCCM 10376) is isolated from the oil contaminated soil; the oil is crude oil, heavy oil such as bunker A oil and bunker C oil or light oil; Acinetobacter baumanii/calcoaceticus N(KCCM 10376) decomposes 90% of oil within 3 days when the oil is crude oil, within 5 days when the oil is heavy or light oil; and Acinetobacter baumanii/calcoaceticus N(KCCM 10376) is grown at 10 to 35 deg. C and pH 7 to 9 regardless of oxygen presence.
