An electrical connector comprises first and second interposers (30, 32), first and second pluralities of shielding members (200, 202; 204, 206) situated respectively therein, at least one cable (40, 42) comprising a central conductor (120, 122), a conductive outer jacket (128) and a dielectric (124) therebetween, the outer jacket being in electrical contact with at least some of the shielding members in the first and second interposers, a cable housing connected to the interposers for retaining the cables, the cables having exposed portions which extend beyond the cable housing and into the first and second interposers, respectively, and conductive elements (300, 302; 304, 306) in contact with the central conductors of the cables.
