FLAT PANEL DISPLAY INCLUDING CATHODE ELECTRODE FORMED OF ALUMINUM THIN FILMS HAVING DIFFERENT DENSITIES, AND METHOD OF FABRICATING THE SAME

PURPOSE: An organic electroluminescence display and a method for fabricating the same are provided to achieve improved passivation characteristics by protecting a cathode electrode from moisture or oxygen. CONSTITUTION: A flat panel display comprises an anode electrode(220), at least one organic thin film layer(230), and a cathode electrode(240) which are sequentially formed on a substrate(210). The cathode electrode is formed of aluminum thin films(241,242) having different densities. The lower film of the aluminum thin films has a lower density and a larger grain size, and the upper film of the aluminum thin films has a higher density and a smaller grain size.
