<p>PURPOSE: A contents delivery server and a terminal unit are provided to allow a user to continuously receive a real time contents delivery service such as image contents by switching a communication network without temporary interruption of an image or a sound even during communication. CONSTITUTION: Inter-server communicating units #1 and #2(110,111) transmit/receive data to/from a contents delivery server(100) via a communication path #1(101). Caches(112,113) store contents data(120,121) received by the inter-server communication units #1 and #2(110,111). A contents sending unit(114) hands over one or both caches #1 and #2(112,113) to inter-client communicating units #1 and #2(115,116). The inter-client communicating units #1 and #2(115,116) transmit/receive contents data to/from a client terminal(119) via communication paths #2 and #3(117,118). A session managing unit(103) controls to simultaneously distribute contents to two or more communication networks and terminate contents delivery via one of the two or more communication networks based on a switching completion notification of the two or more communication networks received from the client terminal(119).</p> |
