摘要 PURPOSE: A manual optical coupling structure and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to perform a high efficiency vertical/horizontal optical coupling at low cost by providing a manual optical coupling as well as an automatic electrical connection simultaneously. CONSTITUTION: A manual optical coupling structure includes an optical coupling platform(20) and an optical electrode(10). The optical coupling platform includes an optical fiber guide hole(22) receiving an optical fiber therein, a plurality of recessive microstructures(24), and a first electrode arranged along with an inner surface of the microstructures. The optical electrode includes an optical waveguide(13) arranged along the optical fiber, a plurality of protrusion microstructures(14) and a second electrode(26). The protrusion microstructures are inserted into the recessive microstructures such that the first and second electrodes are electrically coupled with each other.
