PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system, capable of protecting the fuel cell and continuing the operation, even if an oil-free compressor causes an oil leakage. SOLUTION: An oil separator 9, bypass line 11 and transfer valve 13 are installed between the oil-free compressor 3 and fuel cell 1. Based on the flow rate of the discharge air from the compressor 3, the pressure therefrom and the number of its rotations, whether the compressor 3 is causing oil leakage is judged. If an oil leakage occurrence is judged, the transfer valve 13 is operated so that the air flow from the compressor 3 to the fuel cell 1 goes via the bypass line is changed via the oil separator. |
