PURPOSE: Provided is a fuel battery system which exhibits full capacity of fuel battery by outputting the maximum or certain value energy. Also the fuel battery system can maximize energy output by defining optimal electrode area or unit cell, considering fuel volume occupied by total system volume and energy efficiency. The size of system and cost are decreased when unit cell numbers and electrode area are optimal. CONSTITUTION: The fuel battery system comprises: a fuel battery part(3) consisting of unit cells(3a) containing a pair of electrode and electrolyte; a fuel tank(2) storing fuel used in unit cells(3a); and a control part(4) which controls the fuel battery part(3). When the total energy E from the fuel battery system(1) is expressed as a function(En) of n, the number of unit cells is optimized as the value of En is maximized or almost maximized, wherein n is the number of fuel battery unit cells. |
