A spark-plug connector (SPC) (2) and its fastening on an internal combustion engine withstand a power impact exerted on the SPC of at least 1,000 Newtons. The SPC fastens without a tool and can be removed. A locking mechanism (LM) has a bayonet lock or screwing device (8). The LM has greater rigidity than a casing (3). An independent claim is also included for a spark-plug connector.
