<p>A basketball goal system that is capable of being assembled without tools is disclosed. The basketball goal system may include a support member (12), a rim (14), a bracket (16), a brace (34), and a backboard (40). A support pin (30) is sized to be inserted through a first set of openings in the support member (12), bracket (16) and brace (34). The backboard (40) is attached to the support member (12) by inserting at least a portion of the first support pin (30) into a first groove (46) in the backboard and inserting at least a portion of the brace (34) into a brace groove (48). There may also be a second set of openings in the support member (12), bracket (16), and brace (34) and a second support pin (32).</p> |
