PURPOSE: An electrode for measuring nitrogenic nutrient salts and a biosensor comprising the same electrode are provided, which electrode has improved transfer efficiency between an enzyme and electrode although a binding medium for covalent bond between the enzyme and electrode is used. CONSTITUTION: The electrode for measuring nitrogenic nutrient salts is manufactured by coating a gold or platinum electrode with a mixture comprising 2 to 20 mg/ml of oxidation enzyme or reduction enzyme, 7 to 17%(w/v) of a protein as a binding medium, 0.1 to 1 mM of neutral red, 0.8 to 2%(w/v) of glutaraldehyde and 5 to 30%(w/v) of graphite powder, wherein the oxidation enzyme or reduction enzyme is a membrane fraction isolated from a microorganism; and the microorganism is selected from Pseudomonas fluorescens, Paracoccus denitrificans, Thiobacillus denitrificans, Alcaligenes licheniformis, Nitrococcus mobilis, Nitrobacter winogradskyi, Nitrospira gracilis, Nitrosomonas europaea, Nitrosovibrio tenuis and Nitrosospira briensis.
