An exerciser on which a foot can be placed comprises a foot rest 3 on the upper side of the device and an arc element 7 on the lower side which in use would be in contact with the floor and will tilt with a rocking motion. A protrusion 9 on the arc element comprises a hub (Fig 3) assembly, including a spindle (11, fig 3) and a spring (12 fig 3), which facilitates a twisting movement of the arc element.
