PURPOSE:To prevent the discoloration of a color forming part caused by solar rays by adding a benzotriazole compd. represented by a specific formula to a thermal recording layer. CONSTITUTION:At least one kind of a benzotriazole compd. represented by fomula (wherein X is a hydrogen atom, a chlorine atom or a methyl group and R and R' are a hydrogen atom or a 1-8C alkyl group, Z is a divalent bond. As R and R', for example, there are a methyl group, a sec-butyl group and the like and, as a divalent bond Z, for example, there are a sulfur atom, an oxygen atom, an alkyl group, a hydroxy group substituted alkylene group and the like) is added to a thermal recording layer. The benzotriazole compd. represented by the formula has high effect improving the preservability of light fastness and is pref. compounded in an amt. of 0.01-10 pts.wt. per 1 pts.wt. of a color forming substance. |
