PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evade image position deviation even in the 180-degree rotation of image information by detecting an original rear end for adjustment and detecting the installation error of a rear end detection means. SOLUTION: A rear end shift amount for which the difference of the scheduled timing of reading the original rear end for the adjustment by a CCD 113 and an actual read timing is calculated is stored in an FROM 65 or the like as a rear end adjustment value. Then, the 180-degree rotation is instructed to a rotation part 67 by an automatic double side copying instruction and the back surface of an original is read by the DADF function of an automatic original feeder 4. Then, the original rear end is detected by the sensor for rear end detection of the automatic original feeder 4, and in the case that the original is carried for a stipulated value for which the rear end adjustment value is added/subtracted, original read is ended and a rotation processing for performing the 180-degree rotation is performed in the rotation part 67 to read image data. Thereafter, the image information is outputted in an image output part 71 and the double side copying of original images is ended. |
