PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which information is imbeded to a digital image and read with a simple device at a high speed. SOLUTION: Information to be imbeded to an image is prepared as a binary series of '0' and '1', and a specified value with an interval of 2<n> such as 2<n-1> (2j-1) is set to each coefficient used for coding a digital image to which the information is imbeded and a meaning of '0' or '1' is assigned to the specified value. In the case of imbeding the information '1' to a coefficient, the coefficient is normalized into the specified value to which the meaning of '1' is assigned and in the case of imbeding the information '0' to a coefficient, the coefficient is normalized into the specified value to which the meaning of '0' is assigned so as to record the information in the unit of one bit to each coefficient and other information is multiplexed and imbeded to the digital image. In order to read the imbeded information, the information is read by checking only a bit value at a specific position decided by a value (n) with respect to the coefficients of the digital image to which the information is imbeded. |
